Majimoji Rurumo Anime's "Final Chapter" OAD to be Bundled with The Manga's Last Volume

The 2014 TV anime's main staff and voice cast are confirmed to return


With a 90-second PV, it is officially announced today that a two-part "final chapter" of the anime adaptation

of Wataru Watanabe (Yowamushi Pedal)'s magical comedy manga Majimoji Rurumo is in the works. As a 50-

minute OAD (Original Anime Disc), it will be bundled with the 1,980-yen limited edition of the last ninth volume

of the manga's ongoing third arc "Houkago no Mahou Chugakusei" (After School Magic Junior High Student)

to be released in Japan on July 9, 2019. Pre-orders will be received at bookstores until May 10. 






The first arc of the manga, Majimoji Rurumo, was serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius from October

2007 to February 2011 with seven tankobon volumes, then its second arc Magimoji Rurumo: Makai-hen (Magic

World Arc) followed from April 2011 to March 2013 with five volumes. Its third and final arc Majimoji Rurumo:

Houkago no Mahou Chugakusei (After School Magic Junior High Student) has been serialized since August 2013.


It was adpated into a 12-episode TV anime in July-September 2014. All of its main voice cast and staff, including 

anime production company J.C.STAFF and director Chikara Sakurai (One-Punch Man TV anime second season),

are set to return.
