the ps4 crunchyroll app isn't updating attack on titan like it should. I check in the updated section and it says episode 43 was released 3 hours ago, yet in my queue, and when I try to access the episode normally, it still only shows episode 42 as the most recently released.

Same here. I just checked it here on the website and it looks like the same thing, episode 42 is showing as the last episode. BUT I let the end of ep 42 play out and it went on to the new ep 43, only on a web browser though. That trick didn't work on my PS4

Simulcast is experiancing issues on PS4 and episodes may not be available to stream till about 3 or 4 hours later for some series. Hopefully the recent app update resolves this issue, but I can't really find any notes on it besides bug fixes.

Now episode 44 is not showing up on my PS4. I pay premium and this is the service I keep on getting. This is why so many people go and download it illegal sites. Crunchyroll sort out this crappy service

What if you go to the show page instead of your queue.. That works on my Roku.

Thanks but I Tried that as well but it still shows episode 43. Oh well time to go to horrible subs and download it. Feels like I’m wasting my money paying premium

I'm also experiencing this problem, which is a bummer. I have my PS4 (not my PC) hooked up to my TV and only pay for CR premium so that I can watch the latest premium episodes on my TV. There's no point for me having premium if I can't watch the episodes on my console when they release.

Alright, the episode is finally available about 4 hours later. I'm glad to see that, but hopefully the issue is fixed before my next renewal date -- otherwise I will be cancelling and moving to a home media server setup, rss feeds, and the high seas.

I made a support request to CrunchyRoll 7 days ago. They said they'd get back to me in 2 days. Still haven't heard anything back from them and the problem still persists today.

I went ahead and setup my media server today with rss feeds and got the latest episode of Attack on Titan playing on my ps4 in about 20 minutes, a much faster wait time than having to wait hours for CrunchyRoll to push something that should already be available.

There's no point in me paying money for an inferior service when I can serve myself with better quality at a faster time. The only logical thing for me to do at this point is to cancel my premium.

Sayōnara.

I will consider coming back after CrunchyRoll fixes the bugs, but no sooner.

I put in a service ticket for this over a month ago. This has been happening for at least 3 months now and they are too lazy to fix it.

What you need to do is go to Shows>release calendar>start watching the show in the browser then stop after about 30 seconds then go to your PS4 and refresh your que, it should show up after that

Thank you for the tip! I appreciate it and will give that a try.

Another tip for anyone reading in: I just started a VRV trial, and it seems like their PS4 app is functioning properly and is showing the latest episode of AoT. Might be worth paying an extra couple of bucks per month for a functioning console app.

Edit: I just tried HOOfan_1's suggestion and it definitely works. Thank you!

Edit2: I've also noticed that VRV has a package for just CR Premium for $6.99/mo. If people mostly watch their anime on their console, it might be worth subscribing to the VRV CR package instead of Native CR. The VRV app on PS4 looks and feels loads better and does not seem to have this bug.

What country are you in?

or possibly, what episode number is the last one you see? The show is on hiatus. Episode 49 is the latest one, until they start producing it again, it is a split season with downtime until April of 2019.
