Ellation, Inc. is a transformative entertainment company and operates Crunchyroll, the leading subscription service bringing Japanese Anime to the world, and VRV, a new multichannel subscription platform catering to a broader set of fans around anime, animation, fantasy, horror, tech and gaming culture. Crunchyroll is one of the top targeted SVOD services with over 1 million paying subscribers and reaches tens of millions of viewers globally. Crunchyroll has a multifaceted business with multiple touch point to fans spanning both online via video services on web, mobile, livingroom, gaming, manga, ecommerce and offline across merchandise, events, gaming, and more. We are looking for a dynamic individual to drive all aspects of Crunchyroll marketing across its various businesses to drive overall audience engagement and new audience growth.
We’re looking for a marketing leader who is passionate about the Crunchyroll brand, and the various experiences we deliver to enhance our fans relationship with the brand. This person should excel at brand strategy, marketing strategy and execution across a variety of mediums within a fun, dynamic and exciting company that’s continuing to innovate and redefine the next generation content and media experiences.

San Francisco Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assemble to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV's passionate communities.
The ideal candidate will be a leader with deep, direct marketing experience in the digital and fan centric or entertainment sectors building lifestyle brands with demonstrated success. He/she should have strong operational experience and a demonstrated track record of hands-on management in leading a marketing organization to drive the objectives of a digital media businesses. Success in this role will require a collaborative mindset, agility, and strong relationship building skills (both internally and externally). While experience in anime would certainly be a plus, we are open to hiring an marketing expert who is passionate about building fandom.
