About the Team:

We are looking for an experienced, adaptable and technical individual to join our team as an IT Administrator to work onsite at our San Francisco office.  You should have years of experience as an IT professional administering and architecting innovative solutions to business needs in a corporate environment. You feel comfortable managing an 80/20 Mac/Windows environment, have a firm understanding of Mac integration to an Active Directory infrastructure, easefully implement automation or management solutions to manage the IT infrastructure, and provide training to the IT team and to internal customers.

About You:

Your work will help internal customers to "do less, better" as well as manage internal users and machines.  The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage an overall heterogeneous IT infrastructure as well as solid experience in working in a Help Desk / IT Operations environment.

A day in the life of our IT team:

  • Acting as point of contact for IT related issues in a macOS and Microsoft Windows environment
  • Provide technical assistance and support to end users
  • Assist with setup of internal company meetings
  • New Hire setups, including computer build, desk setups and trainings
  • Maintain IT ticketing queue. Closing tickets within the company SLA
  • Participating in the IT Helpdesk, provide technical assistance and support to end users
  • Administration and maintenance of Active Directory , CentOS , AWS
  • Configuring and deploying Windows 7-10 and macOS
  • Network management, IPSec tunnels
  • VoIP phone management
  • Conference room A/V presentation systems
  • Maintain documentation and process improvement standards
  • Communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users up to C-level
  • Training other IT professionals in IT-related matters
  • Manage Google Apps (G-Suite)
  • Printer and copier maintenance and support

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Embody and be an evangelist for exceptional customer service
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in a ticketing system
  • Independent thinker, ability to self-manage smaller tasks in a larger project
  • Ability to analyze as-is business processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Comfortable managing and administering macOS and Windows 7-10
  • Strong experience as an IT professional and Tech Evangelist
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of VoIP telephony solutions

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with Mobile Device Management(MDM)
  • Previous experience with IT Asset Management(ITAM)
  • Experience configuring JAMF Casper Suite (client management framework)
  • Technical documentation writing
  • Experience with BASH, PowerShell, Python or other scripting language
  • Experience with iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Policy and procedure development and improvement
  • IT certifications and/or training are preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk environment preferred
  • Experience managing Office 365
