We are looking for a talented, high-achieving individual to join Crunchyroll as our International Content Distribution and Acquisitions Lead. Today, Crunchyroll is globally recognized as the premiere destination for streaming anime, and has cultivated a brand of everything anime - video, events, community, eCommerce. Central to the company's growth is the overall distribution of our acquired first window content and the ever-growing AVOD/SVOD library of top-notch anime titles.
About the Team:
Crunchyroll's content acquisition mantra is focused on providing our users with a complete offering of the best new simulcast titles, as well as key catalog content in all the regions Crunchyroll is available. That's where you come in. In this role, you will work with various internal stakeholders and international partners to distribute our growing catalog of content to international distribution partners and acquire key catalog content across the various regions & languages.
You will help identify key content gaps, content opportunities, and acquisition initiatives and lead the effort to grow Crunchyroll's content offering across the globe. You will interface with regional staff, Japanese content partners, and senior leadership on a regular basis. You will be responsible for securing the best and most impactful content for Crunchyroll internationally.
This position requires the flexibility to travel globally, and will report to the Head of Business Operations at Crunchyroll.
